Ride description: This 1200km ride starts east of the suburban area of Toronto, Ontario. Leaving Oshawa, you will ride to the north and west of the region heading to Parry Sound for the first night's break (or riders may continue at their own pace). This region is cottage country and contains many scenic areas as well as a number of challenging climbs. On the second day of the ride you will be heading east through Algonquin Park towards Bancroft, a small town deep in the sparsely populated granite hills of eastern Ontario. The third day's ride will be through more forested hills before turning south towards Lake Ontario. The day will finish at Napanee for the overnight stop and recharge with a meal. The last section of the ride takes you along the shores of Lake Ontario. The ride concludes back in Oshawa.
